ARLINGTON, VA–Velos is proud to announce that we are providing engineering and programmatic support under the Mechanical Integrated Services and Technology (MIST) contract at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). The MIST contract affords a multitude of mechanical engineering and related services for the design, development, and operations of spaceflight and ground system hardware and software. This includes creation and verification of new technologies to set up future space and science missions, fulfilling the responsibilities of the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate at Goddard. Specifically, Velos will be providing support on the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) with mission I&T, preparation for launch site operations, observatory transportation, engineering, commissioning, management and planning.
Our principal work will be performed at GSFC, the spacecraft integration facility in Southern California, and at the launch site in French Guiana.
